We have taken time and care to ensure each of our eight guest bedrooms offers guests a peaceful nights’ sleep in well appointed, stylish and unique surroundings. To celebrate the Victorian heritage of Southport and The Ambassador Townhouse, each room is named after a significant member of Queen Victoria’s immediate family and reflects the décor and ambiance within, offing all you would expect and, perhaps, a little bit more.
Ground Floor Accommodation
Room 1: Alexandrina
A classic twin room located at the rear of the townhouse on the ground floor, this room exudes elegance and glamour. It has a classic but distinctive style highlighted by a dazzling chandelier emphasising the warmth and comfort of your surroundings.
This room is also available as a Super King Size double (72″) by means of a bed link.
First Floor Accommodation
Room 2: Helena
Located at the rear of the townhouse on the first floor, Helena is relaxing and peaceful. A Classic King-Size double room finished in very stylish charcoal grey, duck egg blue and warm gold. Featuring contemporary oak furniture this room guarantees a calm & restful experience.

Room 3: Victoria
The Queen of them all. Stunning and regal, our king-size room is located at the front of the townhouse on the first floor where a large bay window allows the sun to stream through and you can sit, relax and watch the world go by. A truly sumptuous and luxurious room with a feature large wooden and ironwork bed.
Room 4: Alice
Delightful and captivating: located at the front of the townhouse, this single room is small but perfectly formed for a comfortable nights’ sleep. With a subtle medieval feel, the decor is finished in classic Laura Ashley creams and golds with rich, heavy, brocade curtains. Fit for a true Prince or Princess.
Second Floor Accommodation
Room 5: Beatrice
Beatrice a lively and stunning superior Super King (72″ by bed link system) or Twin bedded room of chic boutique. Strong colours, classic but contemporary furniture of black glass and white wood finished with dazzling crystal fittings. A room definitely fit for heirs to the Crown, Beatrice is located at the rear of the Townhouse.
Room 6: Leopold
A contemporary King Size double room with plush fabrics featuring strong warm colours of chocolate, lime and cream; the ice cube lighting finishes the look making this room a little different but very special. Quiet and peaceful, Leopold is located at the rear of the Townhouse and features an additional single bed for family stays.
Room 7: Edward
A superior King Size double room offering majestic comfort. A dramatic room of chocolate, raspberry and cream with a deliciously comfortable King Size leather bed: situated at the front of the townhouse it is easy to let time drift away as you watch the world go by.
Room 8: Louise
Situated at the front of the guest house, Louise is a sunny and bright Classic double room decorated in striking and warm shades of plum & aubergine. Furnished with solid oak contemporary furniture, it is modern and comfortable. Whilst smaller than our other Classic double rooms, the rate for this room is priced accordingly and it is in no way less glamorous than any other.
